Meet Information
Spikes will be allowed on the track. Please use ¼” or less. Scoring will be 1086421 in ALL events, including relays. Each team may enter 3 athletes in each individual event, and 1 relay team. You do not have to enter the maximum number. *Each team has 4 WILDCARD entries to be used at the coach’s discretion in the individual events only (NOT RELAYS). You may use more than one wildcard in the same event (for example, you could enter 4 additional athletes to Discus if you think they could place). You DO NOT have to use all 4 wildcards. Leone Timing is using a new online entry system, please familiarize yourself with the system in advance. All Entries are to be entered at www.milesplit.com *( NEW THIS YEAR )* no later than 11:00pm Monday, May 16. This is a scratch only meet. No additions/changes can be made the day of the meet. To help the meet run smoothly we ask that each school bring competent volunteers to assist at field events or in the scoring booth (Assign your athletes not competing to work). th Ribbons will be awarded for 1st – 6 place. Please remember to stay until the end of the meet to get your ribbons and to vote on awards. The Most Outstanding Track and Most Outstanding Field athletes of the meet will receive a plaque for both the boys and girls. Patches will be awarded to the winning team at the postseason CSC coaches’ meeting. This year we will again have a NONSCORING PENTATHLON. Each school is allowed 2 female and 2 male athletes . *The order of pentathlon events will be: 100/110HH, HJ, LJ, SP, 800m/1500m Sauquoit’s facility offers a 6 lane track with 8 lanes on the straightaway, two jumping pits (one for girls & one for boys), separate shot put, discus, and pole vault areas outside of the track and two high jump areas (one for girls & one for boys), an all weather infield, bleachers & booth, concession stand, and restrooms (porta johns, & bathrooms at north end of the bus garage, & high school by cafeteria doors). Remember to preorder your tshirts, there will be a limited supply available the day of the meet. Please make sure your athletes are supervised at all times. Do NOT let them wander the buildings. Please try to keep your athletes off the infield unless they are warming up for an event. Also, no tents are allowed on the infield or in competition areas. Eligibility: To compete in the CSC championship meets, athletes must have competed in at least 3 league competitions during the season. To petition an athlete who has been injured or otherwise incapacitated and does not have the minimum of 3 competitions, the athlete’s coach must sent a written correspondence to our AD representative by the Friday before the league meet. From North: Route 8 south to the Sauquoit exit. Turn right off the exit onto Pinnacle Rd. Go to blinking red light and turn left onto Oneida St. Go approx. 3/4 mile (road comes to a "Y", stay to the left); high school is 1 mile past the "Y" on the right. Park between the high school and bus garage. From the Valley (Ilion, Herkimer, Little Falls, etc..): Take Route 5s west to the Frankfort Fairgrounds exit (next exit after the Frankfort exit). Turn left off of the exit and go over the Route 5s overpass. This will become Higby Road. Go approx. 78 miles and you will see the Frankfort Hill Fire Dept. on the right, then Hacadam Rd. on your left; you will take your next left onto Graffenburg Rd. (will see sign for Stonebridge Golf Club). Take Graffenburg Rd. until you come to a blinking red light. This intersects with Roberts Rd. Go straight through the four corners with Roberts Rd. and you are now on Pinnacle Rd. Remain on Pinnacle Rd. until you come to another blinking red light (you will cross Mohawk St., go under Route 8, and go past Reilly's Dairy). At the light turn left onto Oneida St. Go approx. 3/4 mile (road comes to a "Y", stay to the left); high school is 1 mile past the "Y" on the right. Park between the high school and bus garage. From South and East: In Bridgewater (Route 20), take Route 8 north approx. 8 miles to blinking caution light. Turn left at caution light onto Oneida St. High school is approx. 1/4 mile on the left. Park between the high school and bus garage. From East Winfield: Take Stone Rd. off of Route 20 and follow to Babcock Hill. After Babcock Hill four corners, take next left which is still Stone Rd. (if you go straight past the Stone House w/ stone fence around the property, that becomes Holman City Rd.) Go approx. 1.5 miles and turn right onto Route 8 north. Go approx. 1.5 miles to caution light and turn left onto Oneida St.; high school is 1/4 mile on the left. From West of Bridgewater on Route 20: In Sangerfield, turn onto Route 12 north. Go through Waterville and proceed toward Utica on Route 12. Approx. 5 6 miles out of Waterville turn right onto Tormey Rd. (next right turn after Pryputniwicz Farms sign on Rte. 12. At the end of Tormey Rd. (approx. 2 miles) turn right onto Doolittle Rd. Take your next left (at Doolittle School House) onto Sulphur Springs Rd. You will go past Sulpher Springs golf course, then the Paris Town Park. Take your next right past the Paris Town Park. This is an access road that will take you to our high school. Park between the high school and the bus garage.
