Spring 2016 Senior Academy Application Students in the Senior Academy enroll in 9 credit hours at half of the normal tuition and complete a preliminary academic and career plan as part of the Academy. All of the Academy courses are offered between 8:00 – 10:50 am on MWF. Students must be a senior with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher, a composite ACT score of 21 or higher (or the equivalent SAT or COMPASS score), and have completed at least 6 credit hours of Washburn University courses with a 3.0 GPA to be eligible. Written parent or legal guardian approval is required for students under 18. Students who complete at least 15 hours of WU courses (including the Senior Academy) with a 3.0 GPA and who enroll in 15 WU hours in Fall 2016 following their high school graduation will receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship to Washburn University.
