Rohwer Elementary PTO Annual Donation Drive 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to our school and to our students. These funds support school activities by providing educational enrichment programs and school wide family events. Our goal is to have ALL Rohwer families make a donation to the PTO. Big gifts or small - we'll gladly accept them all! To encourage friendly rivalry, the grade level with the highest percentage of participation will win an ice cream party. I am relieved to not buy tubs of cookie dough for my freezer, but would rather have my money go directly to the teachers for supplies and grade level programs. Thank you for not asking me to purchase or sell magazines and gift wrap to raise money for PTO sponsored programs such as WATCH D.O.G.S. and One School, One Book. I'm thrilled not to be participating in any aspect of a craft fair, but secretly wish I could learn the Fox Trot, Waltz, Rumba and Merengue with the 5th graders in their PTO sponsored Dancing Classroom program! I look forward to NOT spending an evening baking seven layer dream bars for a bake sale. Instead we'll enjoy a family night out at events like the Carnival, Variety Show, Movie Night or Turkey Bingo.

Please make your tax-deductible check payable to Rohwer PTO and bring it with you to the back to school open house. Donations may also be brought to the office or returned to your student’s teacher (please mark envelope PTO Donation Drive). The donation drive will wrap up on October 13th. The donations made to the PTO are kept confidential and your personal information is used only for tax purposes and to track grade level participation. Many companies have programs to match charitable giving; please check with your employer to double your gift. Receipts will be mailed out for donations of $250.00 and over. For all other donations, your canceled check will serve as your receipt. See IRS Publication 526 for additional information.
