Volunteer recruitment during open house and curriculum evenings Ramay News utilized to share volunteer opportunities and resourses to provide instruction to parents on how to incorporate developmentally appropriate learning activities in the home environment 4. How will your school work with parents to create a School-Parent-Compact? School-Parent-Compacts are designed to meet the needs of individual students. Compacts are between the parent, student, teaching staff, counselors, and admininstation. We have school-wide systems used as the template and then tailored to meet specific student needs. 2016-17 School-Parent Compact is accessible on school website 5. How will your school provide opportunities for parents to be involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of the school wide school improvement plan, and the Annual Title I Meeting to engage them in the decision-making processes regarding the school's Title I, Part A Program? The Title I meetings on Sept 12th & 13th , 2016 provides parents with opportunities to contribute ideas and suggestions to the current implementation plan. ​The school team will review the plan with the PTO in a fall meeting - PTO members will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions Utlize community members to aid in the school improvement plan 6. How will your school provide resources for parents? Resources are provided, in print or electronically, for all parents and distributed with student schedules during pre-school orientation. Books, pamphlets, and other informational materials are secured and made available (funds permitting) based on parent needs as indicated in the parent survey. Resources are available online and in the library. The process for resolution of parental concern is included in the electronic copy of the student planner which is available on the school website School has a a designated Parent coordiantor 7. How will your school engage parents in the evaluation of your parental involvement efforts? Parents will have the opportunity to vocalize their concerns and suggestions for improvements through the parent survey which will be extended to all parents three times (October, January & April) Parental Involvement plan will be accessible via school website 8. How will your school use the parent interest surveys to select, plan and implement parental involvement activities that will be offered throughout the year? Parent needs assessment guide planning for parent workshops and other activities conducted with both students and

parents. Annual CAP conferences are conducted with parents, students, and an advisor to discuss academic progress and to determine the appropriate academic path for the student. Parent surveys from orientation drive the decision for parental volunteer placement based on the parents' interests and time frames. 9. When will your school plan the Annual Title I Meeting that must be conducted separately? (It CANNOT be held in conjunction with any other meetings or activities.) Title 1 meeting on September 12th & 13th, 2016. All parents will be invited to the meeting. An overview of our school improvement plan will be reviewed an opportunity for parental input will be incorporated. *After completion of this form, the school should print and submit to district for review and approval. Once approved, the school is required to post their School Parent Plan on their website.
