Discussion Questions: 1. I was once told something very helpful in assessing whether I (Pastor Clint) was living on mission. Focus on three areas: Your LOCATION (i.e. your neighborhood), your VOCATION (i.e. work) and your RECREATION (i.e. hobbies, sports, clubs, etc.). Are you living on mission in these areas? If yes, share how with the group. If no, what steps can you take to grow in EACH of these areas? Be specific. 2. Matthew 5:13 states that salt becomes tasteless (i.e. worthless) when as contains some impurities. What impurities remain within YOU that is a hindrance to “living as salt” in the world? Or maybe spiritual areas of compromise? 3. According to scripture, Jesus is the Light of the world. In what specific ways was Jesus the Light? 4. Darkness is the absence of light. What is the darkness (or multiple areas of darkness) in our culture that concerns (or tempts) you the most? How can you be more of a “light” to pierce through the darkness? Again, be specific.
