VFC Re-Enrollment Annual Training Requirement You Call the Shots: Storage and Handling and Vaccines For Children Program Modules The Colorado Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) requires that the Primary VFC Vaccine Coordinator, Secondary VFC Vaccine Coordinator, and NEW* the Provider of Record (MD, DP, PA, NP) at each enrolled VFC provider office complete two training modules hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Required You Call the Shots Trainings: 2018 Vaccine Storage and Handling Module 2018 Vaccines for Children (VFC) Module The trainings are highly recommended for any other staff working with VFC. The two self-paced, computer-based trainings will take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete and are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Go to CDC’s You Call the Shots website at: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/ed/youcalltheshots.html Select “Vaccine Storage and Handling - Jan 2018” link Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Continue” to start program. Go through the module until you complete the training. The Continuing Education Information slide screen will say, “You have completed this course” 5. To obtain and print your certificate or receive Continuing Education credit, go to the CDC’s Training and Continuing Education Online (TCEO) system at: http://www2a.cdc.gov/TCEOnline/ a. Log in as a participant Note: If this is the first time you are using the CDC training system you will need to log in as a new participant and create a participant profile. b. Click Select & Register for this course by entering Course Number WB2897 into the keyword search field. c. Select the course for which you’d like to receive credit: Immunization: You Call the Shots Module Ten: Storage and Handling -2018 (WB2897) d. Select the type of continuing education you wish to receive (available continuing education types include CME, CNE, CHES, CEU, CPE, or AUDIT if you prefer a certificate of attendance) and click Submit. e. Select your demographic information and click Submit to complete your registration. f. Select Click Here if you have completed the course and need to take the evaluation and/or posttest. Upon completion, you will be redirected to the Participant Services Page. i. (Note: You must complete the evaluation and posttest to get a certificate) g. Complete the course evaluation and click Submit. The system will redirect you to the posttest screen. h. Pass the posttest with a score of 80% or better and click Submit. (Note: users are only allowed two attempts). i. Click Next to return to the participant services page. Click on Transcript & Certificate to view and print your transcript and/or certificate. j.
