Hamdard Institute of Engineering & Technology (HIET) Hamdard Institute of Engineering & Technology (HIET), a body for imparting quality education and training, was established in 1997.Itis among one of the pioneers to introduce Information Technology education in Pakistan. It has a vast physical structure spread over 70,000 square feet which is well equipped with technology laboratories and spacious lecture halls to provide quality education, supported by a highly trained and skilled faculty to develop individuals so that they can compete in the market. HIET truly realizes the importance of quality education and therefore engages one of the best and inspiring faculties in Engineering and Technology thereby assuring an educational experience of highest quality. HIET offers a variety of engineering programs which are duly accredited by PEC. These include Electrical, Electronics, Bio-Medical, Mechanical, Computer System and Energy Systems. Library There are more than eight thousand books and four hundred & fifty project reports available in HIET library. A designated area for digital library with updated computer systems is also provided. Sixty six research journals and magazines are made available to our students. Sibling Concession Fee concessions are offered to students having their brother/sister studying at the Hamdard University. Hardship Hamdard University provides help to students facing unforeseen hardships in their financial circumstances during the course of their studies. Merit Hamdard University provides merit scholarships to talented students having outstanding performance. In most cases the University has a set of criteria to select the winners from among the qualified applicants.
