We meet in JROTC class every day according to the schedule

What About the JROTC Uniform? The “blue” uniform is issued to each Cadet
JROTC pays for the tailoring of all uniforms
You are responsible for any dry cleaning Cadets are required to wear the uniform one day each week for a grade
A mistake on the uniform is called a “gig”
What is a JROTC leadership Lab?
Leadership Labs are a graded requirement
We conduct Leadership Labs once each month
Cadets practice Leadership skills at Lab
What is JROTC Community Service? The annual Inter-National Coastal Clean-up is one of our major service events
Our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is another major community event You’ll earn far more than the 20 hours you need to graduate

What is the Drill Team?
We’re one of the best JROTC Drill Teams in Southern New England We compete in the Southern New England Drill League
We frequently travel outside the state to compete
Are Cadets Physically Fit?
Every year we run in the Parkview 5K
Cadets are expected to be physically strong as well as mentally, and emotionally
What is a JROTC Color Guard ?
We have pride in our Nation’s flag
Cadets execute approximately 30 color guards every year
You will see us every Friday night under the lights at Cranston Stadium
What is the Raider Team? We get to wear the Army ACU uniform Raider team members work on their physical strength
What is the Annual Military Ball?
We celebrate our achievements and diversity with a punch bowl ceremony
The military Ball is a formal dinner we enjoy each year
What is the Annual Awards Ceremony? Cadets receive individual recognition/awards for their achievements during the school year
JROTC makes a point to recognizes excellence and achievement
Are CHSE JROTC Cadets Close Friends ?
We Cadets are a team and we look out for each other
The JROTC brotherhood and sisterhood can not be beat
Can I become a Leader in JROTC? Yes you can become a leader in the Corps of Cadets with hard work
Cadets are encouraged to seek out and assume leadership roles
There are approximately 48 leadership positions that we have to fill each year
All leadership positions are “Earned”
I live on the west side, can I take JROTC?
Yes
We do have students from the western side of Cranston taking JROTC at CHSE
If you live on the west side and wish to take JROTC at East, you must obtain approval from Central Administration
I live outside Cranston, can I take JROTC? Yes you can
