The Parent Advocates for Visually Impaired Children Inc. (PAVIG) in coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd) will be hosting the 9 1h VISTA multi -sports event for children wim visual impairment .nse V.ISTA 2017 is on Marct1 3, 2017 at Philippine Sports Complex, LJL TRA Pasig City. This event aiins to advocate equal opportunities iin all activities in the life of children with visual impairment, to raise awareness about the great ways that children witl1 disabilities can participate in society by developing their full potentials in sports. Expected participants to this event are chiidren from the elementary and secondary both from the public I and private schools.

PAVIC will be hosting its VISTA Garrjes (Visually Impaired spbrts Training and Advocacy) on March 3, 2017 at the Philippine Sports Arena from j5:00am-5pm. The sports event includes Track & Field (running, standing long jump, shot p:ut), swimming, goal ball, adaptive table tennis, chess and indoor .g ames. We an1icipate at least 800 participants including 250 children with visual impairment from different schools in Metro Manila and from Regions II, Ill , IVA, !VB and v, along with their parents.
