Foodbank Donations Many thanks to everyone who regularly donates to the Bracknell Foodbank. As well as the usual items, the Foodbank has specially requested longlife fruit juice (1 litre), tinned rice pudding and tinned fruit. They also accept new, unused toiletries for men and women. They DO NOT need sugar anymore. Please remember the Foodbank when you do your weekly shop. The APCM will be held this year on Wednesday 26th April at King Edward's Hall at 7.45pm. There will be Mass at 6.30pm for those who would like to attend and a glass of wine to follow before the meeting. Contacting the Ministry Team and Parish Office Please remember that Ministry Team members may not always be available to give an instant response to a phone call or email. Fr Darrell’s day off is Friday (and he appreciates the way that this is respected by parishioners). Fr Patrick’s day off is also Friday. Pam and Sheila are unpaid volunteers and are not available full-time. Additionally, Sheila will be keeping Tuesdays free from church activities in future. Pam will also be having a fixed day free from church activities: this will be decided during the summer. If you are unable to contact a member of the Ministry Team in an emergency, Julie in the Parish Office may be able to help you during her normal working hours (Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri 9.30-1.30). Finally, church wardens will always have access to Fr Darrell’s mobile phone. Those who participated in the Angel of the Church project on Sunday, 26 February may be interested in the results: a report has been written and copies are available at the back of church. Please put this year’s Ascot week date of June 20th – 24th in your diary as we will once again be asking for volunteers to help with parking, coffee service and afternoon teas. If you are unable to get a day off from work for ‘volunteering’ there are other occasions when we will need help so please make a note of the following – June 10th for churchyard tidy, June 18th (after 10.30 service) for setting up Hall and Rectory lawn and June 24th for dismantling. This is our major fund raising each year and we would welcome your support.
