When looking at the different types of foster care organizations, the joining of the National Foster Care Coalition (NFCC) and Together We Rise could be quite a successful enterprise. Each offers the best of both non-profit worlds: NFCC is a large organization possible of reaching more people, while Together We Rise is more specified and tailored for basic foster care needs. NFCC looks to advocate the well being of foster care children by providing education, funding, and volunteering for foster children. Additionally, the NFCC it is consisted mainly of foster parents and other individuals involved in foster care that are not directly foster children. Together We Rise is tailored more towards the individual foster child, and aims to donate foster care children with bicycles, duffel bags, and other everyday resources a they could need. By combining these services with existing funding and resources, a co-op between the two organizations would be more impactful in the foster care community. The NFCC would have the ability of reaching out to more individuals to gather donations and volunteers, while Together We Rise would have the know how of impacting foster children at a more meaningful individual basis. However, there could be some conflicting ideals. Since NFCC is is a larger organization it could have some difficulty adopting the ideals and services of a smaller organization. Yet, with the co-op and full interest by both organizations surely services offered by both sides could be combined to create an even more impactful foster care organization.
