Report to: Business Manager The Khon Kaen University Center for Civil Society and Nonprofit Management (CSNM) is recruiting for highly qualified and motivated persons to work on the USAID-funded Civil Society Partnerships Project. The Project goal is to develop the capacity and networks among CSOs in the Lower Mekong Sub-region to increase their effectiveness in mobilizing their constituents to improve local governance. In order to implement the project smoothly, CSNM is looking for skilled, dynamic and selfmotivated persons to fill in the position of Communications Officer. Job Purpose: To delivery of full communication functions Roles and Responsibility: 

Develop an integrated communications strategy for the organization (CSNM/CSPP) incorporating PR, Marketing and Online.



Implement communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organization.



Develop relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline.



Develop social media content for CSNM/CSPP: website, face-book etc.



Write CSNM/CSPP press releases for local and national media.



Adapt CSNM press releases for international syndication ensuring stories translate to differing international markets.



Monitor press stories relating to the organization and its brand and maximizing opportunities for positive PR and playing down any negative PR.



Collate and analyze current communications and messages and ensuring consistency.



Develop and lead the CSNM’s internal communication strategy across Thailand and LMS Countries



Other duties consistent with the overall focus of the assignment as assigned by the Business Manager.

Qualifications: 

A bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field



2-5 years general communications experience



Good interpersonal skills and personality

   

Excellent written and spoken English language skills Excellent computer skills especially in publication/presentation software Skills related to print production, PR, audio/video production, website development Good IT knowledge skills will be advantage
