Provisions of the 2007 General Appropriations Act on the Employee's Net Take Horne Pay

In line with the twenty-two (22) doable anti-corruption measures embodied in the Integrity Development Action Plan (IDAP) of the Government particularly such measure on the protection of the meager income of government employees, the following General Provisions of the 2007 General Appropriations Act, shall be strictly observed: Authorized Deductions Deductions from salaries, emoluments "Sec 40. or other benefits accruing to any government employee chargeable against the appropriations for personal services may be allowed for the payment of individual employee's contributions or obligations due thefollowing: (a) (b)

The BIR, GSIS, HDMF and PHIC; Mutual benefits associations duly operating under existing laws which are managed by, and for the benefit of government employees not covered by compulsory membership in the GSIS; and Assoaiationsicooperattives organized and managed by government employ ees for their benefit and welfare:

PROVIDED, That such deductions shall not reduce the employee's monthly net take home pay to an amount lower than Three Thousand Pesos (PhP3,000.00), after all PROVIDED, FURTHER, That in the event the total authorized deductionsauthorized deductions shall reduce net take home pay to less than Three Thousand Pesos (PhP3,000,00), authorized deductions under item (a) shad! enjoy first preference, those under item (b) shall enjoy second preference, and soforth." The above-mentioned provision shall guide the Personnel Services Division in payroll preparation insofar as salary deductions are concerned. . This Order takes effect immediately.
