DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 52-92 August 05, 1992 SUBJECT : SUSPENDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 44-92, ENTITLED, "AMENDMENT OF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 16-78, ENTITLED, RULES AND REGULATIONS TO IMPLEMENT PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1362, ENTITLED, ALLOWING RADIO BROADCASTING AND TELEVISION STATIONS TO IMPORT RADIO OR TELEVISION EQUIPMENT, SPARE PARTS AND TECHNICAL ALLIED AND PROGRAM MATERIALS TO BE USED EXCLUSIVELY IN THEIR BROADCAST OPERATIONS, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS." the interest In service, and upon of the the representations of KAPISANAN NG MGA BROADKASTER SA PILIPINAS, the implementation of Department Order No. 44-92 dated May 26, 1992, is hereby suspended. The Revenue Operations Group in consultation with the National Tax Research Center (NTRC), Bureau Internal of Revenue (BIR), Bureau of Customs (BOC), Public Information Agency (PIA) and the Industry shall immediately review the provisions of Department Order No. 44-92 with the view to coming up with a fair and reasonable implementing Order to an ensure orderly and expeditious action on requests for availment of the "off-setting" arrangement under PD 1362. the meantime, Department Order No. 16-78 shall In continue to be in full force and effect, and shall serve as guidelines in the implementation of PD 1362.
