AMENDING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN PEDRO IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA UNDER DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 58-88, DATED DECEMBER 2, 1987 OF THIS DEPARTMENT FROM FOURTH CLASS TO THIRD CLASS, EFFECTIVE JULY it 1987, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 249, DATED JULY 25, 1987 OF THE PRESIDENT. The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region IV; the Provincial Governor, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the Provincial Treasurer and the Provincial Auditor of Laguna; the Municipal Mayor, Sangguniang Bayan and the Municipal Treasurer of San Pedro; and Others Concerned.

This Department is in receipt of the letter dated March 3, 1988 of the Provincial Treasurer of Laguna, informing that in his scrutiny of the reclassification of the municipalities of the province under the aforecited Department Order No. 58-88, he noticed that the municipality of San Pedro should have been reclassified into third class,., instead of fourth class, it appearing that the municipality has an average annual income of 05,805,597.68 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (1983-1986). Further verification by this Department of the certification by the Commission on Audit under its letter dated November 24, 1987 shows that the average annual income of San Pedro for the aforecited calendar years was actually 059805,597.68. In view hereof, the municipality of San Pedro, Laguna, is hereby reclassified anew as THIRD CLASS. Accordingly, the enumeration of municipalities under Department Order No. 58-88 mentioned above, particularly No. 24 thereof, is hereby amended to read:

"24. San Pedro

5,805,597.68

First-B Third"

Be guided accordingly.
