The countdown is on-in 364 days, a new railroad will lead directly into the Kutaisi International Airport. Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili participated in today’s ceremony dedicated to the launch of the construction of a three-kilometer railroad track and a station. Thanks to this new railroad track, every passenger train travelling from the east to the west, or vice versa, will stop a few yards from the Kutaisi International Airport. According to the Prime Minister, the new railroad, along with the airport, will symbolize what Georgia aspires to achieve-to become a country with a modern European model of planning with rapid dynamics. “The Kutaisi Airport, along with this station, will become a vitally important center where our citizens, who wish to travel to Europe for an affordable price, now visa-free, will be able to enjoy a comfortable modern Stadler train.
