The Till I'm 90 Film Productions announces the showing of the Film entitled Old Skoal. This film is a heartwarming sto:r:y about a Lola, played by Ms. Tessie Tomas, who goes back to school despite old age, and attempts to survive the ruthless and cutthroat world of pre-teen campus life. TI1is inspiling story also showcases awardwinning actors Buboy Villar and Angel Aquino. The showing of the Film aims to: 1. show the importance of pursuing education and increase awareness among students on the relevant issues taclded in the film (i.e. finishing school and bullying); 2. deepen their appreciation of the independent films as a means to inspire and create a positive change in ones' mindset and a great tool for educational entertainment/ enrichment; and 3. promote the Alternative Learning System of the Department of Education and to give it the respect and understanding it deserves. The target viewers are learners from both public and private elementary and secondary schools. Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to I11crease Engaged Time-on- Task~ and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
