TAN-AW PRODUCTION, Inc., a new breed of non-profit theater company duly organized and registered under the laws of the Securities and Exchange Commission has-organized-"-stage~play-for a cause project' which is educational historical-musical production for the season 2017-2018. The play entitled DAKILANG LAKAN highlights a historical experimental play about our noble men here in the Philippines. The story that reflects what our ancestor's life; including their culture, lifestyle and how they dealt with invaders. The play will run throughout the school year 2017-2018 at selected Mall Theater Cinema or Theater Venues in Metro Manila and the provinces.

The said plays highlight experimental performances that can really attract the attention of the viewers provided with state-of-art lights and sound as well as interactive media-animation presentation.

are we and WHAT we do? TAN-AW PRODUCTION, INC., we're established as a community theater namely Actor's Community Theater in 2003 which aim to rekindle theater for youth. The · _____gmup._progresses through years until it was formalize.cLaod_legalized as a theater company under new name in 2008. Tan-Aw continues to provide excellent educational stage plays that surely a beneficial and learning_pr_Qcess for their actors and audiences.

HOW we present our plays? ~

We mounted our play with the use of modern and classical type of theatrical presentation. A live musical-dance while performing an act. Plus the use of 20 & 30 animation will ease the understanding of viewers. The "state of the art" lighting and light effects (such as moving heads, beam, RGB Laser & intelligent LED) are used to boost interest and visual imagination of the viewers. Transition of Production Design: Travelling from one dimension to another by using and props design will give knowledge to our dear viewers of certain scene,-place or individuals. · - -- - Costume Presentation: In our play, we use costumes that are reflecting from the world of fantasy and history to the world of reality. Ang Dakilang Lakan ay isang dulang eksperimental no nagpapakita sa uri ng pamumuhay ng ating mga sinaunang ninuno. Ang kuwento ay nagsimula noong pumanaw ang asawa ni lbu Matua nasi Ormoc, ang lakan kanilang
Iugar. Pinagtatalunan ng bawat pinuno ng pangkat Maharlika, Timawa, Mandirigma at Alipin kung sino ang hihiranging

maging susunod na Lakan ng Siniloan. Ngunit ayon sa propesiya, isang bata ang isisilang sa kabilugan ng buwan nas1yang
_ _ nakatakdang maging susunod na pinuno o lakan. Dumating ang takdang panahon, isinilang si lsugon at siya ang hinirang na lakan ngunit hindi ito ikinatuwa ni Kusgano, ang pinuno ng Mandirigma. Nag-aalala ang ilan- higit si lbu Matua, ang ina ni lsugon, sapagkaCnTndi pinagtutuonan ng pansin ni lsugan ang kanyang gampanin bilang isang pinuno. Samantalang, sa kasukalan ng kagubatan ay_ oailigtas ni lsugon si Benak na tumatakas sa mga__alagad ng mandirigma. Nagmamakaawa si Benak sa kanya na kupkupin siya sapagkat wala na siyang tahanan at pangkat na kinabibilangan, hindi kalaunan pumayag na rin ang lakan. Sa pagbabalik nila sa Iugar ng maharlika ay nakasalubong nila si Aleya at Umpang, mga tauhan sa pangkat ng Timawa at Alipin. Naibigan ni lsugan si Aleya kung kaya't nagpasiya siyang sundan ang dilag sa pantalan. Handiong si Aleya; nais niyang makuha ang loob ng dalaga ngunit tinanggihan niya ito. Nainis si Handiong at si Aleya ay nais niyang pasakitan ngunit iniligtas ito ni lsugon. Nagkamabutihan ang dalawa dahil sa pangyayari. Nakipagsabwatan si Handiong kay Kusgano upang mabihag si Aleya at makamtan ng mandirigma ang pagiging lakan ng sinilaan matapos mapatay si lsugon. Sa kanilang paghaharap ay nalupig nina Handiong ang lakan at mga kasama nita. Bukad pa roan, umamin si Kusgano na siya ang nagpasimuno ng sunog kung saan namatay ang ama ni lsugon. Dagdag pa, isiniwalat rin niya na si Benak ay tunay_na kapatid ni lsugon, ang batang iniligtas ni Kusgano at. ina .kal~_ng_

Naglakas laob sila at nagpasiya iligtas ang mga kasamahan dahil kahit anumang pangkat na kinabibilangan nila, hindi maitatanggi sila_ayjisangjahi. _ Sa pantalan, nailigtas ni lsugon si Aleya ngunit sa kasamaang palad ay nasawi si Melania. lbinangan ng lakan ang mandirigma na nalulungkat sa pagkamatay ng asawa.
