Wisconsin’s inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they live. Applications may be submitted to up to three nonresident school districts.

Students in 5-year-old kindergarten to grade 12 may apply to participate in open enrollment. Open enrollment for 4-yearold kindergarten and early childhood education is limited. Parents should call their resident school districts to find out if their preschoolaged children qualify for open enrollment.

Our Super Awesome Bearded Dragon

Hello, Park View friends! Let’s talk about SERVICE and HELPING HANDS. We can use our hands to do things that make life better. We can use our hands to build a garden or to feed someone. We can use our hands to create a beautiful painting or write a wonderful story. We can use our hands to pick up litter. We can use our hands to give someone a pat on the back to make him or her

feel better. Today, notice what you do with your hands. Look for ways to use your hands in positive ways. That can make life better. Happy Valentine’s Day! Your Friend,

Coral

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART

SMART SMILES

Park View Panthers are excited to participate in Jump Rope for Heart and raise funds for the American Heart Association. All students took the pledge to choose to drink water instead of sugary drinks, be physically active for 60 minutes a day and eat a fruit or veggie with every meal. For more information on this program, visit heart.org/jump.

Smart Smiles provides a dental screening, fluoride, oral health education, sealants and other preventative dental services at no charge to you or your child’s school. Park View is looking forward to this program coming to our school later this month. Be sure to return the signed pink CONSENT FORM. You may indicate whether you want your child to receive treatment by checking YES or NO on the form.

Weather Conditions Students are expected to be properly dressed for the weather conditions for the day. Boots, hats, mittens or gloves and warm outer garments are essential. We ask that students label all of their clothes for the outdoors.

Students will be allowed indoors when the wind chill is 0 degrees or colder. Early arrivals at school need to wait outside of the building until the bell rings at 8:07 a.m. Several students are coming very early every

morning. As a reminder, students should not be arriving to school before 8:00 a.m.
