A barrel will be on the front porch for donations of clothes and shoes (no holes; no winter coats), toys (none requiring batteries), towels, bedding (light weight), underwear, toiletries, feminine pads, cloth diapers, baby toiletries, school supplies (comp books, pencils, scissors, erasers, paper) (no 3ring binders), Bibles, EGW and children’s books and Sabbath School craft supplies. Church Treasurer Needed ~ We are accepting resumes. The position involves around 15 hrs per week and pays a modest hourly rate. Preferred candidates will have some experience in bookkeeping or other finance experience but not necessary; training will be provided. This week a dear member, Mozelle Kubas, died at the age of “103 minus 15 days” ~ Visitation hours will be held in our church tomorrow from 11 am - 1 pm. A celebration of her life will take place at 1 pm followed by the internment at the Collegedale Cemetery. Please remember her family in prayer at this time.

This community building fun run/walk, 5K race and carnival supports the GCSS Worthy Student Fund (WSF). The 55+ Club of Collegedale ~ will meet Sunday, Nov 12, at noon in the fellowship hall of the Collegedale Church. The program will feature Dr. Daniel Reynaud, Visiting Professor in the History and Political Studies Department at Southern Adventist University. He will soon be returning to Avondale College of Higher Education in NSW Australia. Dr. Reynaud will be speaking about the history of Adventism in Australia. As interested, attendees will have the opportunity to query him about his special expertise in the World Wars, and his impressions of his year in the U.S. Food assignments for the vegetarian dinner are: A: Cranberry Relish; B-C: Holiday Roast; D-F: Sweet or White Mashed Potatoes; G-K: Apple or Pumpkin Pie; L-R: Vegetables; S-T: Tossed Salad; V-W: Rolls. [email protected]. Heaven's Bounty ~ The Southern Singles Ministry (a division of the Conf Church Ministries) is operating a food pantry in Apison. The pantry serves 30-40 families each day it's open. We are in need of helpers in the following areas: • Putting food away in bins before the clients arrive (3-4 hour blocks) • Pick up/delivery from Food City (2 hrs, 1x a week, Sunday – Friday) Contact Linda Fore 423/322-7206 to help with this important ministry.
