FRIDAY NOVEMBER 30 SOBEK 3.1 workshops Workshop “D-Water Quality” This hands-on workshop teaches how to add a D-Water Quality model to a previously existing D-Flow 1D model. Two different types of models will be set up: 1. Fractions calculation (tracers). 2. Substances calculation (Streeter-Phelps model, oxygen related to sewer overflows).
Workshop “D-Real Time Control” D-Real Time Control is a SOBEK 3 module to model control of structures in a water system. The workshop contains a general introduction on the modelling concept and good modelling practice and a hands-on part where the participants build their own D-Real Time Control models and analyse simulation results.
Workshop “Scripting” The scripting functionality within SOBEK 3 may be used to set-up batch model runs or to automate case/data analysis. During this workshop a live demo will be given showing how to set up such batch model runs and how to perform basic case analysis. Hereafter participants are invited to carry out an exercise themselves.
Workshop “SOBEK 3.1” SOBEK 3.1 is the latest official release of the SOBEK 3 suite. Since the SOBEK 3.0 release, the D-Water Quality and D-Rainfall Runoff model plug-ins have been added to the suite. This workshop will start with an introduction of SOBEK 3.1. Hereafter the participants can get acquainted with the software by carrying out exercises of their own choice (building a model from scratch, import of existing models, working with existing GIS data, export of model data etc.).
