DRESS CODE (School Board Policy Descriptor Code: 6.310) White County High School Students enrolled in White County Schools shall dress and groom in a clean and neat manner. When a 2 student is attired in a manner which is likely to cause disruption or interference with the operation of the 3 school, the principal shall take appropriate action, which may include suspension. 4 Wearing gang-related clothing, clothing that advertises or promotes drug use, alcohol and/or tobacco is 5 expressly prohibited. Students are expressly prohibited from wearing, while on school property or at any 6 school sponsored event, any type of clothing, apparel or accessory that denotes membership in or affiliation with any gang associated with criminal activity.1 7 8 Students are expressly prohibited from wearing, while on the grounds of a public school during the 9 regular school day or while attending a school sponsored activity, clothing that exposes underwear of 10 body parts in an indecent manner that disrupts the learning environment as determined by the building principal/designee Head Appropriate Wear
