1. Introduction DS18B20 Water Proof Temperature Sensor is the water proof temperature sensor which is able to measure the temperature in liquid. It provides 9 to 12–bit centigrade temperature measurements and has an alarm function with nonvolatile user-programmable upper and lower trigger points. The DS18B20 communicates over a 1-Wire bus that by definition requires only one data line (and ground) for communication with a central microprocessor. It has an operating temperature range of –55°C to +125°C and is accurate to ± 0.5°C over the range of –10°C to +85°C. Specification:

3. Sample Hardware Installation and Sample Source Code Diagram below shows the hardware connection between DS18B20 Water Proof Temperature Sensor and Arduino UNO. Besides Arduino, it may interface with any microcontroller such as PIC and etc.

4. Result 1. Before putting DS18B20 Water Proof Temperature Sensor into water, its temperature is around 31 Celsius (Room Temperature).
2. The temperature increased when the DS18B20 Water Proof Temperature Sensor was dipped into hot water.

3. The temperature decreased when the DS18B20 Water Proof Temperature Sensor was dipped into cold water.

5. Warranty
Product warranty is valid for 6 months. Warranty only applies to manufacturing defect. Damaged caused by misuse is not covered under warranty. Warranty does not cover shipping cost for both ways.
