1. Introduction DS18B20 Temperature Sensor Module provides 9 to 12–bit centigrade temperature measurements and has an alarm function with nonvolatile user-programmable upper and lower trigger points. The DS18B20 communicates over a 1-Wire bus that by definition requires only one data line (and ground) for communication with a central microprocessor. It has an operating temperature range of –55°C to +125°C and is accurate to ± 0.5°C over the range of –10°C to +85°C. Specification:

3. Sample Hardware Installation and Sample Source Code Diagram below shows the hardware connection between DS18B20 temperature sensor and Arduino UNO. Besides Arduino, it may interface with any microcontroller such as PIC and etc.

To obtain the result, please get the sample source code and burn it into Arduino.

4. Result The temperature increased when the finger was touching on DS18B20 Temperature Sensor.
The temperature decreased when the finger released from touching on DS18B20 Temperature Sensor.

5. Warranty
Product warranty is valid for 6 months. Warranty only applies to manufacturing defect. Damaged caused by misuse is not covered under warranty. Warranty does not cover shipping cost for both ways.
