1. Introduction The 4-bits IR Line Tracking Sensor Module is used to detect obstacles, line colour and etc. It consists of four digital output pins, a +5V pin and a GND pin. The sensor works by sending infrared rays of certain frequency. When the line or obstacle is detected by sensor, its comparator board will sends a LOW digital output. Meanwhile the corresponding indicator light will turn ON. This sensor is commonly used in robotics world that implemented the use of white lines on the playground as a navigation scheme. It consists of four potentiometer knobs which can be used for adjusting the sensitivity for each sensor. Specification:  

 

Input voltage : DC 3.3V to 5V Output Interface o 4 Digital Outputs (0 or 1 digit) o +5 VCC o GND Signal : Active low Sensitivity : Adjustable (potentiometer adjustment)

3. Output Signal : LOW  Obstacle is detected by all sensors  LED status : All LEDs are ON

3. Warranty    

Product warranty is valid for 1 month. Warranty only applies to manufacturing defect. Damaged caused by misuse is not covered under warranty. Warranty does not cover shipping cost for both ways.
