No : 002/2016 To All Members Direct Market Access facility This is in continuation to Exchange circulars NSE/CMTR/21430, NSE/FAOP/21431, NSE/CD/21432 dated August 07, 2012, NSE/CMTR/12289, NSE/FAOP/12290 dated April 21, 2009 and NSE/CMTR/12070, NSE/FAOP/12071 dated February 26, 2009 regarding Direct Market Access facility, wherein the eligibility criteria was specified as below: DMA facility may be used by the client or an investment manager of the client. DMA facility is being permitted only to institutional clients as specified in SEBI circular. Only SEBI registered entity shall be permitted to act as an investment manager on behalf of institutional clients. In case of DMA is used by the clients through an investment manager, the investment manager may execute the necessary documents on behalf of the clients. Based on member feedback and in pursuance of SEBI Master Circular no. CIR/MRD/DP/9/2015 dated May 26, 2015; Exchange is now pleased to announce that in addition to Institutional clients, DMA facility shall be extended to the below mentioned categories of clients w.e.f. June 02, 2016. 1. FPI (category I, II & III) 2. Body Corporates 3. Primary Dealers All other provisions in respect of DMA facility as stated in the above mentioned Exchange circulars shall continue to be applicable to aforesaid categories of investors also.
