'Deaf & Dumb' Grant of Transport Allowance at double the normal rates to employeesin railways - reg.

The Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) vide OM No.20/2/2016-E-II(B) datedll l0ll20l7 have decided that the Transport Allowance at double the normal rateswould be 'Hearing impaired employeesin addition to employeeswho are both deaf and admissibleto the dumb. Theseordershave been made effective from 1910212014. While enclosingcopy of the said OM dated 17l0ll20l7 issuedby the Ministry of Finance (Deptt. of Exp),"NFIR requests the Railway Board to issue similar instructions, allowing the TransportAllowance at double the normal ratesto deaf and dumb employeesin railways.
