Honeysuckle Baby Sandals Crochet Pattern
Special Stitches Single Crochet (sc) Insert your hook into the next stitch. Yarn over, and pull back through that stitch (2 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through all 2 loops on your hook.
Half Double Crochet (hdc) Yarn over, insert your hook into the next stitch. Yarn over, and pull back through that stitch (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on your hook.

Size: Pattern is made for 0 - 6 months old. Changes for size 6- 12 months are in [ ]. Finished Measurements (Sole Length) 0 - 6 month old – 9cm 6 - 12 month old – 10cm
Sole: Rnd 1- Ch11 [13], 2 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 hdc in next 8 [10] sts, 5 hdc in next st. ( Note: You are now going to be working on the opposite side of foundation chain.) 1 hdc in next 8 [10] sts. 3 hdc in last st. (26 [30] sts) Do not sl st in 1st hdc of this rnd. Rnd 2- Start crocheting in 1st st from the previous rnd. 2 hdc in next 2 sts. 1 hdc in next 8 [10] sts. 2 hdc in next 5 sts. 1 hdc in next 8 [10] sts. 2 hdc in next 3 sts. (36 [40] sts) Do not sl st in 1st hdc of this rnd.

3.50mm (E) Crochet Hook 80yds 8ply Yarn (DK) Tapestry Needle 2x Buttons
Yarn: Sirdar Cotton DK • Larkin (1 skein) • Honeysuckle (1 skein)
Stitches Used: st(s) - stitch(es) ch - chain stitch sl st - slip stitch sc - single crochet hdc - half double crochet dc – double crochet
Rnd 3- Start crocheting in 1st st from the previous rnd. *2 hdc in next st. 1 hdc in next st. Repeat from the * twice. 1 hdc in next 8 [10] sts. *2 hdc in next st. 1 hdc in next st. Repeat from the * 5 times. 1 hdc in next 8 [10] sts. *2 hdc in next st. 1 hdc in next st. Repeat from the * 3 times. Sl st in 1st st of this rnd. (46 [50] sts) Fasten off, and weave in loose ends. Repeat “Sole” pattern 4 times, (crocheting 2 soles in “Larkin” and 2 soles in “Honeysuckle”) put together (wrong sides inside) both soles.
Join both soles by working sl st around (work in all four loops, back and front), 46[50] sl sts.
Row 9 [10]- Ch1, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in next 33 [38] sts. Turn your work. Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.
Strap: Row 1- Start crocheting on the left side of the sandal, 3 sts away from end of “row 1” from “Heel” section of sandal.
Heel: For the left sandal, crochet the 1 st row from the outside of your work, and for the right sandal crochet the 1st row from the inside of your work.
Ch1, 1 sc in same st. 1 sc in next 4 sts. Turn your work. (5 sts) Row 2- Ch5 (First 2 ch counts as a dc), skip 3 sts, 1 dc in next st. Row 3- Ch1, 1 sc in same st, 3 sc in 'ch3' space made in previous row, 1 sc in next st. Row 4 – 11- Repeat rows 2 – 3. Place left strap across “Sole” 3 sts away from end of “row 1” on the right side of the sandal. Sew strap in place.
Row 1- Ch1 using “Honeysuckle” yarn, 1 sc in next 19 [21] sts across the back of sole. Turn your work. (19 [21] sts) Row 2 – 5 [6]- Ch1, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in next 19 [21] sts. Turn your work. Row 6 [7]- Ch1, 1 sc in same st, 1 sc in next 19 [21] sts. Ch16 [19]. Turn your work. Row 7 [8]- 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in next 33 [38] sts. (34 [39] sts)
