INFOPACK SEMINAR: “Cooperation for youth development: youth participation, youth work and youth mobility” 14th – 21st November, 2016 Puente Genil WHAT? “Cooperation for youth development: youth participation, youth work and youth mobility” is a seminar that arises from the need of various organizations, on the one hand, to create a strong network for future collaboration within the Erasmus + program; and secondly, and more specifically, to learn about different forms of youth participation and how to carry them out to our youth, to learn about youth work through the experience of participants and to share experiences on youth mobility general. Therefore, the main goals we propose for this project are:
Allow young workers to benefit from an experience of intercultural collaboration Build a strong network of organizations Acquire skills to enhance personal and professional development of people working in the field of youth Promote greater quality of work in the field of youth Know different forms of youth participation and its impact at local, regional, national and international level Share best practices related to youth participation, youth work and youth mobility Discover tools to work in the field of youth participation and mobility Create specific results applicable to any youth organization
WHO IS PARTICIPATING? The participant’s countries in this project are Asociación Europa 2020 (Spain), Arcipelago (Italy), Les MJC in Rhone-Alpes (France) Hair Asociata Redivivus (Romania), Intercultural Clube Europeu (Portugal), Youth Council Dobele (Latvia), Kujawsko-Pomorska WK OHP (Poland), Kiklejate Vennaskond (Estonia) and ADEL (Slovakia).
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE The participants groups by country will be organized with 2 youth workers (trying to get gender equality) over 18 years old with experience in youth work, participation and mobility and with communication skills in English. We will prioritize people who have fewer opportunities (attending to guidelines set up by Erasmus + program). The overall group of participants are 21 people: 2 participants per country + 3 facilitators from Spain
WHEN? 14 – 21 November, 2016
WHERE? This project will take place in Puente Genil, city located at South of Cordoba, in the center of Andalusia.
HOW? The activities we propose are closely linked to the topic of the project (participation, mobility and youth work). The activities will be grouped by day attending to these issues and the type of activities to be carried out are: - Energizers and dynamic presentation - Organization activities by participants - Activities directly related to the subject - Presentation of results and feedback - Collection of resources - Evaluations - Visits - Street activities - Good Practice Guide - Planning future projects The methodology for these activities will be: teamwork, group discussion, creative activities, problem solving, visits, reflection, oral and multimedia presentations, evaluation, theater forum, informal education, intercultural dialogue, narration, fill in surveys...
HOW MUCH? This project will be implemented within the framework of Erasmus + Programme of the European Commission (K1). Hence, all costs related to food, accommodation and activities will be paid in full. The travel costs are financed by European Commission, attending to the programme rules according to distance calculator.
