What is INFRA BOOTCAMP
INFRA BOOTCAMP is an inaugural event series that educates attendees about the current and upcoming trends in the world of technology today. The 2015 event, dubbed INFRA BOOTCAMP 2015 is focused on helping IT professionals and organizations embark on required steps to developing and deploying a more agile infrastructure, one that can support the needs of enterprises and users. This year’s series focuses on the Microsoft Windows infrastructure. At INFRABOOTCAMP 2015, technologies such as Puppet and Chef and its application in the Microsoft Windows environment will be discussed, along with the deployment of Microsoft Windows on OpenStack.
Puppet: Puppet Enterprise is an IT automation solution that gives you the power to easily automate repetitive tasks, quickly deploy critical applications, and proactively manage infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud. Chef: Chef turns infrastructure into code. With Chef, you can automate how you build, deploy, and manage your infrastructure. Your infrastructure becomes as versionable, testable, and repeatable as application code. Chef server stores your recipes as well as other configuration data. OpenStack: OpenStack is a set of software tools for building and managing cloud computing platforms for public and private clouds.
