What Has All Hands In Been Doing? As I anticipate the beginning of a new year for All Hands In, I am so thankful for our community who has surrounded us and our work this past year. Through your support, we were able to educate and bring awareness through 12 speaking engagements, 3 youth program presentations, 6 networking opportunities and 14 rolling store events. In addition, over 100 people attended our annual fundraiser and through our Sanctuary by the Sea Retreat, we were able to build relationships with 5 women survivors and continue our support and outreach to women in need.
Through our #Giving Tuesday outreach on Facebook and a matching gift of $500, we were able to raise over $2,000 towards hiring a Development Consultant part-time in 2016 to assist us in moving forward with some major fundraising so we can begin our residence program for women survivors. We continue to receive grant support to allow us to continue to do educational outreach and advocacy in the Greater Boston area. One church provided us with a gift of $1,000 to begin a survivor fund so we can assist women in emergency situations. In addition, your gifts have allowed us to continue to build our house fund getting us closer to acquiring a house in some way that we can turn into a home. 2015 has been an amazing year! So what will 2016 bring for All Hands In? We hope to continue with our education and advocacy outreach as we explore new opportunities in youth prevention and advocacy; hire staff to assist us in financial development and program leadership in order to expand our services to women survivors in addition to expanding our Sanctuary by the Sea Retreat program; develop our product line and opportunities
for our rolling store events; and lastly purchase or rent a house for All Hands In to make a home for women survivors of trafficking and exploitation. Through your support in 2015, you have brought hope and have touched the lives of many women. We hope you will continue to work with us in 2016 in making a difference in our communities in Massachusetts and in the lives of women survivors. Happy New Year and Blessings,
Barbara Anderson on behalf of the Board of All Hands In

All Hands In is now offering Lanna Coffee for sale! Lanna Coffee is a non-profit coffee roaster based in Fresno, California whose mission is to support the production and marketing of coffee grown by villagers in Thailand in an effort to develop their economy. The story can be traced back over 55 years to Richard and Marlene Mann who are considered Thailand’s coffee pioneers. Richard and Marlene came to Thailand in 1959 with the goal of seeing Thai highland villages become self-sustainable and free from the oppression of the drug cartels and human traffickers that inhabited the area. The solution came in the form of a coffee plant. The Manns (Richard's son Mike, an International Ministries Global Consultant, and his wife Becky, an International Ministries missionary) started an organization called The Integrated Tribal Development Program (ITDP), which slowly began working one village at a time, with the hope of eventually freeing all of northern Thailand of poverty. Today, over 25 villages are growing coffee, and all crops are owned 100% by the villagers. Lanna Coffee Company works alongside ITDP and the villagers to purchase that coffee, often paying beyond the Fair Trade value. This allows villagers to be self-sustainable while Lanna Coffee Company works to further support the cause by offering this specialty coffee to the U.S. market. You can purchase Lanna Coffee from All Hands In at $12.00 per 12-ounce package, and help a great cause. See contact information below. For a $50 donation to All Hands In, we will come and host a coffee hour at your church after worship featuring Lanna Coffee. We will also bring our rolling store so you may purchase coffee and more.
A retreat is planned for September 16-18 in Oceanwood for women survivors of sexual exploitation and addiction. Icebreakers, devotions, a prayer room, conversations, games, and the beach will fill the weekend. It will be a time just to relax with God in a safe place. Mentors please contact Barbara Anderson (see contact information below).
All Hands In is available to bring the “Rolling-Cart Store” to your church event (fair, potluck, etc.). We carry Thistle Farm bath and beauty products made in Nashville, TN, by survivors of sexual exploitation, giving them an alternative income. These products include soaps, shower gels, body balms, body butters, lotions, room sprays, lip balms, and lip smoothies. Other items for sale are “fair trade” items where the laborer gets a fair wage for his/her work. They include olive oil, tea, candles, and chocolate.
Would you like All Hands In to raise awareness about human trafficking at your church? We’re available to present at a potluck or worship service. In addition to raising awareness, we can tell you how you can help. There are many different ways in which we can focus. Just invite us and let us know what sort of presentation you would like.
