Mrs. Callahan’s class has been talking about renewable and non-renewable resources, so they did a cookie mining experiment. They had to mine their natural resources (chocolate chips) without destroying their land (the cookie).
Parents– please be aware Our fifth graders being #Proactive during 6th grade orientation. They discussed middle school, scheduling, and they got to pick their electives for next year.

Anderson Parents– Ice packs are a lifesaver to young children, but we go through a lot of Ziploc baggies. If you could donate baggies or sponges, it would be greatly appreciated!
Parents– Please be aware that all students are required to go outside for recess unless there is a note from the Doctor stating otherwise. With that being said, it is slushy/muddy/snowy outside during recess. Please make sure your student has a spare pair of clothes in their book bag in case of emergency.
