RECLASSIFICATION OF THE CITY OF BAIS EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1982, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE

NO. 465. TO:

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region VII, City Mayor, Sangguniang Panglunsod, City Treasurer,. City Auditor and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the City of Bais maintains its present classification as First Class effective July 1, 1982 on the basis of the average annual income of (7,726,387.58 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (1978-1981), as certified by the Commission on Audit under letter dated August 24, 1982. Furthermore, pursuant to Section 3 of the aforementioned Presidential Decree, the City of Bair, is hereby sub-classified from First Class-B to First Class-A, effective July 1, 1982, on the basis of the average annual income of $10,240,981.05 actually realized during the last two (2) consecutive calendar years (1980-1981), as certified also by the said Commission. The foregoing classification and sub-classification of the said City shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of the local government officials and employees in accordance with existing law and regulations.
