The Phelps have to sell their motorhome due to health problems. The minutes of the July 23, 2011 meeting were read by Lenchen Radle, v-p. Motion to accept minutes was made, seconded and passed. In the absence of Treasurer Shirley Starsinic, the Treasurer’s report was presented by the President Mike Horner. The President ordered that the Treasurer’s report be filed for audit. WM- M & N Horner- Lakewood Campground, Myrtle Beach, SC

This will be a week long Buddy Rally. The club will pay for an empty site next to the WM to use as a gathering place for club functions. Anyone with easy-up tents, please bring with you. Let wagonmaster know when you make the reservation and give him your assigned site #. To date, 8 coaches have reserved. Oct. 21-23, 2011

WM- J & S Parker- Flory’s Cottages & Campground, Ronks, PA

Parker’s not present for update. Our main function will be an auction on Saturday, which will probably be open to campground (will try to get Bob Sechrist as auctioneer). Bring items you wish to sell. We will probably go out to dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. Call campground for reservations, 717-687-6670.

WM- R & K Meacham- Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, PA

This will be our annual Turkey Fry and Minute-to-Win-It game. Group reservations made in the name of Chesapeake Allegros. Phone the campground (717-334-3304) for reservations. Let wagonmaster know when reservations have been made. A total of 11 sites have been reserved. To date 7 or 8 coaches have made reservations. Not in our usual spot, we have been moved closer to front of campground. Dec. 9-11, 2011

WM- J & S Parker- Fenwick Inn, Ocean City, MD

Due to contractual issues we will be going to the Fenwick Inn. Please send an email with your intentions to the Parkers so a decision may be made regarding our Nursing Home visit. Steve Warren will be Santa Claus. More information will follow at a later date. Old Business: 1. Officers for 2012- all positions are open. President Horner requested a volunteer to conduct recruitment, Nancy Horner volunteered. 2. Think about possible campouts for 2012. We may go to Castaways twice (June & September). Laubachs have May and Meachams have November. New Business: 1. Ron Meacham believes we do not need 4 officers, could combine secretary and treasurer. Ron also wants to nominate Vince Giammusso for every office available, all agreed. Sick and Injured: The Browns had to cancel this weekend due to their son having a blood clot in his leg. He is on blood thinners and is required to stay prone. Nancy will send a card. Bob Sechrist had Hernia surgery. Nancy sent cards to Bob Sechrist, the Sherards, the Calarys, Fickerts, the Miles and the Francis’. The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 A.M. by the President.
