Having played first hand in many of the circuit tournaments across the countryside, these Ogres have put together a hap-hazard tournament which they hope to pit the best Ogre Teams and coaches against one another for the coveted inaugural Ogre-hio Open Trophy. Tournament entry provides: 2 Official Tournament Dice. 4 Ogre-Tastic Games of Bloodbowl with some of the coolest nerds you could ever hang with. Raffle for a couple door prizes, maybe some other things like an Ogre pat-down!

Painting and Modeling requirements: All teams are expected to meet the minimum painted guidelines. They must have 3 colors on them and no metal or plastic showing. Non standard or converted minis are acceptable, but we must be able to easily tell the positions apart. You will not be allowed to proxy minis in any way that can confuse an opponent, for example: “This cheeto is actually a Bull Centaur.” If you have any doubt at all about your team please email me and we will discuss it:

Tournament Rules: -4 games in one day (Iron Man Tournament) which will include 3 rounds of Swiss pairing and a Championship round. There will be a Tournament Champion and Stunty Cup Champion -Weather will be rolled by the tournament directors at the start of each match and will apply to everyone’s games. -The Kickoff table in the LRB 6.0 will used. -Any official team in the LRB 6.0 are welcome, as well as Slann, Chaos Pact, and Underworld Creepers. (NOTE: Any roster cost changes in the new 2016 Re-Release will be used)
-Tournament will be a resurrection style tournament. So any injuries your team suffers will not carry over to the next game, and any SPPs they earn will also be erased. The roster you start the tournament with will be the same for each round you play. -Rosters should be 1,100,000 coin roster. HOWEVER all Non-Ogre teams, due to being a little nervous about being on the pitch with these giants, MUST TAKE BOTH an Apothecary and Bloodwieser Babe (except for Necro and Undead Teams, they must take 2 Bloodwieser Babes instead) Rosters may include the following allowed inducements only: You may purchase these Inducements for your team, and have them for the start of each match. 1. Star Players: If two teams play each other and have the same star player, they will both be allowed to field the Star. 2. Skills Rule Pack: Players will not gain skills with SPPs. Before the tournament begins you may assign additional skills and improvements based on the following:

***NOTE*** -Ogre Teams are defined as the Ogre and Snotling Team. -Normal Skills are defined as a skill that are available to a player on a normal skill roll. -Doubles Skills are defined as a skill that are available to a player on a doubles skill roll. -The Leader skill may not be chosen.
Your Team Roster: - Must be filled out completely. Coach Name, NAF Name, Race, Team Name, numbers, player names, position, stats, skills, and cost per position. Additional skills from the Rule Pack should be highlighted or stand out. -Bring Five (5) Copies with you to the tournament -This Must be done! For no other reason than for your opponents convenience. Illegal Procedure: In the spirit of good sportsmanship, Illegal Procedures will not be called. The 4-minute turn rule will not be strictly enforced. The Tournament Directors will give time warnings. Please be a sporting coach and play at a pace that will allow you to finish your games.
Dice: D6’s Everyone that attends The Ogre-hio Open will be given a set of tournament dice. These should be the only D6’s used throughout the tournament. D8’s Any D8’s can be used as long as they can be agreed upon at the start of the match. Tournament Directors have final decision in the event of conflict.

Scoring: Win=3 points Tie=1 points Loss=0 points Bonus Points Awarded for Touchdowns and Casualties (Casualties are ones that are caused by a blocking or blitz action) Tiebreakers will be: 1. Head to head Matchup 2. Strength of Schedule 3. Tournament Organizers decision The first 3 rounds of tournament will be using a Swiss system to handle matchups, and the big tie breaker will be your strength of schedule, calculated by the average of your opponents tournament score. The 4th round is the Tournament and Stunty Cup Championship round. Championship Tables: The players that are in 1st-4th place in the standings will play at the top two tables. The Top two tables will be considered the final four, they will decide places 1st through 4th based on tournament points after the final round. The top two coaches using stunty rosters, will play each other for the Stunty Cup Trophy. If the game ends in a tie, tournament points will be used to decide a winner. Sportsmanship: Sportsmanship is not encouraged from the coaches, it is required! To make sure that everyone who attends will have fun. The Tournament directors will issue a warning to anyone who is taking away from the fun environment we are looking for. If the behavior continues you will be asked to leave the tournament. Arguing with the tournament directors or in any way showing them up can also result in a warning. ***An important note on sportsmanship: Fouling 16 turns in a row or running up the score is not poor sportsmanship. But gloating and ridiculing your opponent while doing so is. Remember we are here to have a good time.
At the end of the 4th round, you will be asked to rank each of your opponents sportsmanship. This will help us determine the Best Sportsmanship Award. The Tournament directors would love to hear stories of any opponent that you have witnessed showing great sportsmanship. They will use these stories, the coach’s rankings and their own observations to declare a Most Sporting Coach. They would also like to hear stories of any bad situations so that he may correct them. Anyone playing who isn’t a NAF member yet and would like to join may sign up at the tournament, as there will be a NAF representative on site. You can also renew your membership at the tournament. Cost of new members is included in your Tournament entry.
