Performance Information “The Oz in You: Let’s Talk Character” by Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (Ages 8 and up) When young Leslie’s world was struck by a tornado of tragedy, she created characters as the yellow brick road to joy. This interactive performance utilizes art, puppetry, storytelling and improvisation to inspire young people to develop their “character” by creating characters themselves, to help channel their feelings and ideas through the arts. Join Leslie and her puppet pals for a journey through the imagination, and discover the Oz in you. “Exquisite Corpse” by Katie Correll with Matt & Melissa Dunphy | K80Bot.com Elizabeth Siddal was a prolific poet and artist whose work was often eclipsed by her male contemporaries. After her death in 1862, her grief-stricken husband buried her newly finished poetry book with her, only to exhume her body 7 years later and publish the book. With music by Matt and Melissa Dunphy, robotics engineer and puppeteer Katie Correll uses classic paintings to bring Siddal’s poetry to life.
