The Treasurer Auckland Lieder Group Inc c/o Olga SARAN 1 - 10 Stottholm Road Titirangi AUCKLAND 0604
Auckland Lieder Group promotes performance, education and interest in fine art song including German lieder. Our focus is on exploration, experimentation, and constructive feedback. Concerts are held in pleasant private homes around the greater Auckland region, typically on the fourth Sunday of each month. Concert locations are advised by email and monthly newsletter. Each month’s programme organiser establishes a theme and invites members to present songs elaborating the theme. Liberal interpretation of the theme is welcome subject to negotiation with the programme organiser. Performance is generally restricted to members. Members are welcome to invite guests. Concerts normally commence at 7:15 pm for 7:30 pm start, unless otherwise notified by ‡ on the Programme Schedule. A door charge to cover supper costs of $5 is charged guests. To assist in catering and seating arrangements, please advise the concert’s organiser of your intention to perform or attend. All paid-up members receive a copy of the rules, and a list of accompanists. The Annual General Meeting is held in conjunction with the November concert.
