1. Vote to Approve Minutes Minutes will be emailed to board after every meeting. Once board Discussion members have reviewed minutes, they will respond to the secretary, and finalized minutes will be posted on the blog. Board members will vote to approve minutes by e-mail. Finalized minutes will be kept by the secretary and posted on the PTO Blog. 2. Vote on Amended Bylaws. Vice President will now be called President-Elect. The voting board members changed from 11 to 10. Voting quorum is two -thirds of Discussion voting members. Voting clarification now states that voting members consist of Executive Board and all elected board members. Action Nicole will e-mail amended bylaws to board. Blog will be updated. 3. Vote on Budget Planned income and expenditures were discussed and allocated and approved by majority vote. A carry-over budget is reserved for the Discussion next school year. Budget may be viewed by submitting a request to the PTO President. All future programs, activities, etc., requiring PTO funds will first Action need PTO Board approval. 4. Vote on PTO Items No Halloween costumes. And no Kindergarten parade. Halloween shirts are allowed. After school programs will charge a $5 commitment fee if no supplies are needed. A $10 fee will be charged for programs which need supplies. The choir program will be free to students. Located upstairs. K-6. School shirts will be ordered in multi-color tie-dye. Parents and Discussion & students may purchase for $12 a shirt. Voting Results Red-ribbon activities, as outlined in the October newsletter, were approved. The planned assemblies on Thursday will be at 10:00 a.m. and 1SP/D\WRQ3ROLFHGRJVZLOOEHLQDWWHQGDQFH)ULGD\¶V activity includes giving students cookies. There will also be an allergy-free option. Fall Festival activities are approved. No vendors during this activity. Action

An official vote was taken. The orchestra program was not supported by the PTO board this year. However, since it was already up-andrunning and advertised as being supported by the PTO, the PTO voted to continue the program as follows: Orchestra will go forward with a $100 fee until December. No new students will be enrolled after December. No tuition fee for Jan-May; however, teachers may ask participants to pay for additional music. The orchestra program will be discussed and considered next year.
Action
All programs supported by the PTO must first be officially voted on by the PTO board before proceeding. All programs and activities will be voted on every year. When treats are given to students, there will also be an allergy -free option.
5. PTO/LLA Items

Heidi, is getting too many emails regarding the PTO. So we need to JLYHRXULQIRWR1LFROHDQGUHIUDLQIURP³FF´-ing Heidi on our committee or board emails. Questions regarding hoods vs. hoodies have been asked on the PTO facebook page. As this is an issue the PTO is not authorized to mak e, this is a question the school dress policy must address.
Action
Only Nicole will send Heidi PTO related emails. All school-related questions will be fielded by LLA administration.
6. Volunteer/Visitor Computer Sign-in Training
Discussion
The program is working, and all volunteers and visitors may sign in at the office or from home. The password and administrative login will only be given to the PTO board. The PTO board will be able to use this to e-mail parents and volunteers for a specific activity. There is a report accessible to list individuals not checked out.
Action
E-mail Sasha with updates for parents to see on the popup screen when they sign in at the office.
