Presidents report: -kudos to Jane for her spirit wear success -kudos to Meredith and Kalie for a successful back to school bash -kudos to Ellen for staff lunch as well as creation of a registry of staff favorites that can be found in the office -kudos to Brynn and Kalie for their great launch of Heritage Heroes Treasurers report: - $16,304 income from back to school, Kings, spirit wear etc - $7,514 out - $4319 left to designate - upcoming bill of foundation dues will be app $2300 Principals report: - postponing grant requests until we have funds to designate - a wish list has been created but will be formally presented once we have funds to designate - a summary of recurring expenses was discussed (math curriculum, reading curriculum, technology repairs/replacements, raptor security) as well as "wish list" highlights such as library furniture, painting the library area and a Lego wall. Fundraising report: - 22nd is fund run day - sponsors for fund run are being looked for -labels for education/box tops will need flyer sent - Laura Walsh volunteered to fill the need for entertainment book coordinator as well American Furniture coordinator -2nd spirit rock purchase discussed. New rock will be at crosswalk area. Erin Warta coordinating. Discussion of reserving first spirit rock for school events from time to time. Grant update: -shade structure grants still in the works SAC update: - summary of meeting. Car loop needs further volunteers to assist the teachers, bus issues seem to be resolved. Spirit coordinator report: - back to school bash brought in roughly $1,000 - donuts with dad set to go -mother son event scheduled for 10/11 -Pei Wei night raised just under $200 - restaurant night with Nicolo's scheduled for 10/24
