City of Casa Grande, Arizona Notice of Public Hearing City Council Special Meeting Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a public hearing at a special meeting on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 510 E. Florence Blvd., to consider the following:
A. Public Hearing and consideration of a request by Gilmore Planning on behalf of Casa Grande Mountain Ranch Limited Partnership, Darryl W & Mae H Tang Trust, Skylight Holdings, LLC and the City of Casa Grande for the following land use approval on approximately 890 acres located generally located south of Interstate 8, west of Lamb Rd.
1. DSA-17-00001: Rezoning of Casa Grande Mountain Ranch Planned Area Development (PAD) and rezoning of certain parcels designated Urban Ranch (UR) and Single-Family residential (R1) into Dreamport Villages Casa Grande South PAD. This major PAD amendment would allow an expansion and revision of standards for Resort Commercial land use particularly for a wildlife attraction. There is also a proposed campus and technical park land use, and a highway commercial land use. The amendment proposes to revise the master circulation plan of the previously-approved PAD, rearrange commercial and residential land use areas, and expand the land area of the PAD for medium and high density residential land use, incorporating areas that were previously outside of the PAD (Gagliardi)
B. Public Hearing and consideration of a request by Gilmore Planning on behalf of Casa Grande Mountain Ranch Limited Partnership, LS Partners, Karen Cunningham, and Julian J Sanchez for the following land use approval on approximately 619 acres located generally between Jimmie Kerr Rd and Interstate, and Interstate 10 and approximately the Henness Road alignment:. 1. DSA-17-00002: Rezoning of Casa Grande Regional Gateway Commerce Center (PAD) and rezoning of certain parcels designated Urban Ranch (UR) and Garden and Light Industrial (I-1) into Dreamport Villages Casa Grande North PAD. This major PAD amendment proposes to revise the previouslyapproved office campus land use to allow a resort commercial land use, specifically to allow a recreational extreme sports-outdoor amusement theme park, as well as a resort hotel, indoor waterpark, gated RV park, restaurant, and a retail/marketplace. The amendment proposes to revise the master circulation plan of the previously PAD and incorporate new areas that previously were outside of the PAD (Gagliardi). th
