EXPERIENCE

PEER TUTOR OCEAN VIEW 09/13-PRESENT

I coordinate and facilitate the Peer Tutoring Program at Ocean View High School. I help students, who require a bit more time to learn, understand and learn what they are being taught in their classrooms (usually mathematics). Accumulated the most hours spent tutoring in the first year the program was initiated at Ocean View. BOEING INTERN SUMMER 2014

I interned at Boeing for seven weeks during the summer. I assisted Boeing engineers that worked in the Electrical Failure Analysis Lab. I learned how to solder, populate transistors, operate an Instron, operate an Electron Microscope, and assisted in the building of a relay test box from scratch. BOYSTATE DELEGATE SUMMER 2014

I studied and reenacted state politics and elections in mock government style at California State University, Sacramento in a week-long program during summer. City officials, such as mayor, and state positions were held, such as governor. In order to become a city attorney, I had to pass a mock bar exam, testing one’ knowledge of California Laws, with only the top seventy scores passing, portraying the real-world average bar exam pass rate by law students.
