Accessing your Course: (Use Chrome, Firefox or Safari as your browser) Go to the SPS website (www.springfieldpublicschoolsmo.org) and click the Canvas link on the right. Go directly to Canvas at: http://springfieldpublicschools.instructure.com Logging in to your course: Student Login: Use your student ID number and the default password (first initial+last initial+full birthdate+! - example: ab01021990!) unless you have already changed yours.
Going to your course: Once you log in, click the Courses icon in the course navigation bar and click on your course title.
**Online Orientation Module: Orientation is the first module within your course. Orientation will help familiarize you with Canvas (e.g. submitting assignments). Your child will not be dropped for non-completion, but coursework will be locked until orientation is complete. Coursework will be considered late, and points deducted, if not turned in by the due date listed in the course.
Getting Help: Your success is our goal. Help is available in many ways. If you have a question about your course, you can send a message to your teacher by clicking Inbox, selecting your course, title your message and type your message. To contact the Blended Learning HELP desk, send the message to HELP.
Click Help in the blue navigation bar to open the Help Center.
