April 29/30, 2017 Romans 6:3-4

FOLLOWING THE MESSAGE 1) 6:3 The implication is that this was something Christians were expected to know. 2) 6:3 If you do not understand the significance of baptism, it is likely that you do not understand what it means to die to sin. 3) 6:3 When applied to the beginning of your life in Jesus, baptism demonstrates death to the old life, then raising up to new life. 4) 6:3 The point Paul was making so strongly was that it is impossible for anyone who understands what baptism really means to treat the issue lightly, as though it is optional. 5) 6:3 The baptized have died to sin.
