Be sure to dress and pack appropriately! The elevation is over 4,000 ft., and temperatures will be in the mid 30s-20s while we will be there. There WILL be snow! Dress in layers, preferably with thermals. Wear thick socks and gloves. Bring a hat or toboggan. Pack a scarf or ski mask to wrap your face. Ski pants are preferable, but wear pants with tight ankle cuffs to keep out the snow.

There is a heated pool, so you may want to pack swimming attire. The dress code for all Upward Bound events is still applicable.

Due to the elevation, there is a possibility that cell phone reception will be poor. Each room does have Wi-Fi, though. If you do not have internet access at home or a method to contact your family via the internet, you may want to consider a calling card.
