As the educational leader of Zapata County ISD, the Superintendent should possess the following knowledge/skills:

Thorough knowledge of school finance and curriculum and instruction. Ability to interpret policies, procedures and data. A history of successful leadership.

Qualifications:

Five years of experience as a campus principal and/or a higher administrative level. Texas public school experience preferred. A master’s degree or higher and Texas Superintendent Certification.

Salary Range:

Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
