TI-Nspire CX CAS Setup 1. Unbox your calculator. Make sure to hold on to the documentation and cable inside. On the back of the box there is the contact information for the vendor. Please save this slip. Maybe tape to the case of your calculator and even take a picture of the slip in case you lose it.

2. The license number inside this documentation is of particular importance. Please keep track of this slip, maybe even take a picture of the slip in case you lose it.

3. Plug your calculator into your computer and we will start the software download and license activation. 4. Go to https://education.ti.com/en/software/search then select your calculator model then select from View the Math and Science Computer Software For example for the CX CAS Model Then select the student software: TI-Nspire™ CX CAS Student Software - Full Version, License Number Required for Activation (Windows® and Macintosh®) Then download and install: TI-Nspire™ CX CAS Student Software for Macintosh (DMG)

5. Open the software and select Yes - Activate Your License and click Next. Enter your License Number. This is the License Number we asked you to keep track of earlier. Once the license is authorized the software will ask if you want to report application data. This up to you :). Now you are all set!
