Team Meetings Throughout the semester the team met 10 times, with 2 meetings in the month of November. This was because everyone had a clear task and it was not necessary to discuss further steps. The Nick was in contact with everybody to make sure we don’t fall behind of schedule. Initially these meetings were held on the University Campus, such as in a room after OB lecture or in class itself. Than we realised, as tasks became more important and precise, that a more silent and relaxed environment was needed for the meetings so we met at Teddy’s apartment. This was well accepted by everyone and it was in this location where we discussed all significant matters for the first presentation and work in the first weeks of the project. In the list of meeting we did not include individual meetings such as between Chris and Nick to discuss the web site or organisational matters, preparation meetings before presentations, other time spent between 2 or more team members to carry out tasks. As a rule we fixed to meet on Thursday at 4.30pm, before the OB lecture. As a result some meetings resulted to last longer, just because we had finished to discuss the project and then sat together until we went to class. The meeting time is reported below: Meeting 1: Sept 22nd. 20 minutes Meeting 2: Sept 29th. 65 minutes Meeting 3: Oct 6th. 45 minutes
Team Meetings Meeting 4: Oct 13th. 90 minutes Meeting 5: Oct 20th. 60 minutes Meeting 6: Oct 27th. 50 minutes Meeting 7: November 3rd. 70 minutes Meeting 8: November 17th. 90 minutes Meeting 9: November 24th. 90 minutes Meeting 10: November 30th. 60 min. and more time spent to prepare the event. Total time in official meetings: 640 minutes = 10.6 hours of meetings with all team members. This number would rise significantly if all the unofficial meetings are added. Also interesting to note is that meetings were relatively more productive before a crucial event such as presentations or the project event. It was perceived by all group members how the last 1-‐2 meetings were very productive and shorter in time as well.
