2016 Fall Group Reservations Policies and Procedures Thank you for your interest in bringing your group to attend “The Promise”, an outdoor musical drama depicting the Life of Christ. With over 150 cast members, live animals, sweeping musical score, and breathtaking surroundings, The Promise is sure to be an experience of a lifetime. We encourage you to come early and enjoy the music of local Christian musicians, enjoy our pre show brown bag dinner, shop in our gift shop, and simply relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Texas Amphitheatre.

Directions Once in Glen Rose, turn on to Bo Gibbs, Blvd (Between the Best Western Hotel and the Somervell County Expo Center.) Make the first right after the Expo center onto Texas Drive (CR 301) and follow up the hill and around the bend for approximately 2 mi. The Texas Amphitheatre will be on the right
Up to Two Complimentary show tickets are offered for coordinators of groups of 15+ paid tickets. Group payments must be made by one party. Groups reserving tickets before August 1, 2016 may place a 25% deposit for the total of their ticket order! This ensures the best seats for your group by booking early! For groups making deposits to hold their tickets, the balance of your payment is due 30 days prior to your performance date. Advance reservations are highly recommended for group purchases. For your convenience, tickets may be emailed, or held at our will call window at the Box Office at no additional charge! Gates open at 6:30pm for seating. A pre show concert is performed at 7:15pm which is included in your regular ticket price! The Promise begins at 8pm. Brown Bag Dinners are available at 6:30pm at an additional cost of $10 each. Dinners include a BBQ sandwich, chips, drink, and cookie. A guided backstage tour is offered after the performance for an additional cost of $5 per person. Texas Amphitheatre seating is stadium style fold down seats that are graded and staggered for optimal viewing of our stage! Wide stairs with railings, and ramps for wheelchairs and scooters make for easy accessibility to all handicapped seating areas. The Promise is performed in an outdoor facility. Please dress for the weather. Cash refunds are not offered on tickets, meals, or merchandise purchases. Glen Rose weather in the fall is generally beautiful! If your performance is called for weather, you will receive a comeback pass for use on another night during the season There is a $10.00 per vehicle parking fee at the Texas Amphitheatre. Buses park free.
