Refer to the “WSDA Handbook of Regulations for Direct Farm Marketing (Green Book)” at http://agr.wa.gov/Marketing/SmallFarm/Greenbook/. You may also contact the Lewis County Public Health Department at 360-740-1222 to help determine what licenses and permits your business needs. TOLEDO THURSDAY MARKET POLICIES AND GUIDELINES •
Toledo Thursday Market is dedicated to building community in Toledo and beyond. Have fun, and get to know your neighbors!

Toledo Market hours are 3-7 pm, every Thursday from June 15 through September 14. Vendors are required to be set up and ready for sales before 3 pm because there will be no car access after 3pm. The market area will be available as early as 2 pm. Vendor parking is in the Presbyterian Church lot until otherwise notified.

All booths must be vacated by 7:45 pm. Vendors are responsible to carry out all related trash (leave no trace).

Toledo Thursday Market is not yet able to accept EBT (food stamp) payment. Going forward, it is our goal to offer fresh, local food to low-income families who receive food stamps.

Weekly booth fee of $10 can be paid by cash, check, or debit/credit (additional fee with debit/credit). Make checks payable to: Toledo Lions Club.

Canopy Weight Requirements: All vendors who wish to erect canopies (including umbrellas) on the market site during a normal period of market operations, including the set up and break down period, are required to have their canopies sufficiently and safely anchored to the ground from the time their canopy is put up to the time it is taken down. Any vendor who fails to properly anchor his or her canopy will not be allowed to sell at the market on that market day, unless that vendor chooses to take down and stow their canopy and sell without it. o Each canopy leg must have no less than 24 pounds anchoring each leg. o Market umbrellas must have no less than 50 pounds anchoring them.
