Additional Enrollment Notes: June 2013: 31 (K-6) June 2014: 33 (K-6) June 2015: 31 (K-6) Preschool enrollments: WES Preschool: 13 students ● 7 three year olds from Whiting (4), Sudbury (2), Orwell (1) ● 6 four year olds from Whiting (2), Sudbury (4) Special Programs, Events, and News: ● The Annual FOWS Ham Bingo March 18 was a very successful and enjoyable event. ● The K-1-2 and 2-3-4 teams attended a children’s theater production of Charlotte’s Web at Rutland’s Paramount Theater on March 28. ● Students in grades 3-6 have been taking the annual SBAC testing in Math, Reading and Writing. We will be finished by April vacation. ● The 4-5-6 team is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at Whiting Town Hall April 8 to help with their class trip to Boston in May. ● The annual Whiting School Musical will be performed Tuesday, April 12, 6:30 pm at the Town Hall. ● The Whiting-Sudbury Girls on the Run program is up and running (literally!). ● The whole school will be traveling to Shelburne Museum April 29 to work on hands-on art projects with Museum staff.
